Nickel Alloy Properties

Inconel X-750 / Alloy X-750, a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium-based superalloy, is distinguished by its ability to retain strength at elevated temperatures. After appropriate heat treatment, it provides high tensile strength, good creep-rupture strength and stability under stress. It also offers good resistance to corrosion and oxidation, delivering reliable performance in demanding service conditions up to approximately 704°C.

Remarks

Inconel X-750 / Alloy X-750 is notable for its high resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking even in the precipitation-hardened condition. In addition, Inconel X-750 / Alloy X-750 provides good corrosion resistance in many oxidizing and reducing industrial environments and maintains resistance to oxidation and hot-corrosion effects at elevated temperatures. The high strength, creep-rupture resistance and stability under stress gained through precipitation hardening make the alloy reliable under demanding temperature and load conditions.
